On 10 October 2026, the Seafood Industries Association Singapore (SIAS) visited Johor Bahru for a friendship and industry exchange with our Malaysian counterparts. The visit included Pasar Borong Pandan, a local fish farm in Kong Kong, and Ah New Fishery Sdn Bhd, offering valuable insights into local seafood operations and trading activities. Beyond gaining industry insights, the visit provided a meaningful opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen friendships and foster closer relationships between the two associations. SIAS extends its sincere appreciation to the Johor Bahru Fish Wholesalers Association (新山鱼商公会), led by its Chairman, Mr Tai Wah Sun, for their warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements throughout the visit.
